My name is Jason Shuey. Today I am at work as an intern for the NJ State Police Cyber Crime Unit and I created this webpage!

Where's Ted??? No one knows. Check out my newly made Page 2. Oh, and I'm also planning to put up my Java code from my NYU Comp Sci courses soon for my own personal backup/storage as well as in case it is useful or interesting to anyone. Check for it here if you want.
Put up the fixed zip for my comp sci 2 files that leaves out the class files. Added a link to email me. Also, I put up a page that I will eventually try to put a Java Applet up on since I've never made a Java Applet before but am interested in giving it a shot and seeing how it works.

Ok, so at work now I've been working on fixing up my fifteen game from my Comp Sci 101 class. I've managed to get it working better with a few more checks here and there and now the nice new slowdown of the playback of the moves while solving. Also, the deprications have now been fixed so no need to worry about that. Here it is...and here is the zip.

Back from France and back to work. Added the f_solve program that is a version of the fifteen game written by a classmate of mine that solves the puzzle algorithmically. Crazy stuff. I'm going to see if I can implement this feature into my own fifteen game soon.

Ok, so I've got that algorithmic solve on my fifteen puzzle now so thats pretty cool. Props to Joseph Sofaer who is the person who actually did all the work and wrote the code. I up'd the new version just replacing the old one so the download is the same as up two posts. Unfortunately, it doesn't slow down the moves in between which would be really cool to see. I think the code is way to complex to just throw a timer on but I'll see if there is anything i can do to get some lag in between moves so we can all watch the puzzle be solved algorithmically. There is no reason for me to keep working on this stupid little game as it was an assignment for school from like a year ago but as long as I still have downtime at work here I'll keep doing more random stuff to it so who knows what'll come next. Maybe some help info or tips or something in the game and possibly some sort of timer on the game and high score list, we'll have to see. Keep looking out for it if you're interested.

Ok, I haven't really worked on the code but I have put a little timer into it that I will make actually work sooner or later when I get some time. For now, here the links again for the fifteen.java and the zip. Also, my internship is officially over as of my next day, Thursday, August 12th so I'm not sure how much computer time I'll be having after that but I guess we'll just see. Hmm, i just noticed that it looks like the counter on the page has gone crazy, lol. Oh well, I really don't care enough to fix it now but maybe I will at some point. :-)

My last day as an intern! I'm excited to finally have a break and be able to relax for a few weeks before school starts. I'm guessing this website is gonna be dead from this point forward seeing as it was just something i did to practice/pass time while at my internship here with the State Police but you never know. I did a little bit more programming on the fifteen game before I left and it's upped in the same place as always so check it out. The timer works but only for the first game you play each time its started. That's a something anyway. Now I'm heading home. Au Revoir.
